Which brings up the question, "If DLJ wants to discourage their clients, and everyone else that sees the ad, from shorting stocks, who is shorting stocks?"

Uh..lemme take a crack at this one...er.. "DLJ"?<g>

Another side of that ad could be that maybe they think people don't know you can make money in a declining mkt and perhaps DLJ could help one to be successful in that endeavor
