GRID project at CERN, a new networking advance?

Hi Joe,

First up, a little note on the viral scene:
The funny thing is, it came two or three additional times after that, coming in tandem with emails from my main contact there. Of course I immediately deleted those.

And, of course, immediately alerted the sender that they might be acting as a Typhoid Mary? :)

And something that I've just become aware of: GRID at CERN

I am wondering if any on the thread are familiar with this and can comment? I ran across a mention of GRID in this week's Economist magazine.

I'm supposing it's a Fiber Channel topic in that there's a whole lot of storage needed for any networked processing being proposed.
