Cacheflow products also support wccp v1 and v2. They will work with any L4 switch or router. This feature is not unique to Cisco or cacheflow This is true of most/all caching vendors.

Cisco and Cacheflow are very different. Cisco is a router / switch vendor. They are focused on many many things. Cacheflow is focused only on content delivery i.e. caching.

Cacheflow products have more intelligence in them than the competing cisco products. Cisco has made serveral attempts at bringing caching products to market and has failed each time. Netapp, inktomi, cf and others have much more market share than the mighty cisco.

check out this link for more stuff on cf they have pretty good info ontheir web page

cacheflow.com

Here is some info on netapp.

networkappliance.com

I have tested all 3 companies products. Cisco's was a distant 3rd. CF was better than netapp but that comparison was much closer.
