tp, note my response to mact. selling what and how much to who? i would like to know whether the tuning elements of the the VIPA have been made robust enough to stand field use. their way of tuning is a very neat idea. i don't know if it is yet commercial. all the technicians i've talked to laugh at Gilder's assertion that avnx will turn all of optics on its head. that doesn't mean it's not good and useful (if commercial). it just means Gilder is extreme. but that's not news.
