Brian, the contrast between this post and your last one is quite interesting. This is what I meant when I said every company will put its own best spin on their news. So I'd trust info on each company better if it came from a third party. As for your next post, I am begining to have more and more respect for Compaq. Their sales, marketing, and portions of support infrastructure is way behind Sun Micro. But they are moving ahead in the right direction. The new CEO is miles ahead of the old one. As far as their relevance to equipment guys goes though, I've seen their technology road map and they intend to be two generations behind the bleeding edge on their Alpha (and I presume) other chips. ST PS so does anyone know what the SIA reported for the chip growth in September tonight?
