I'd like to know what the rationale is behind the PEG. I'm not saying it is wrong. It is just that I've never seen anyone fully explain why PEG is a relevant valuation metric.

Valuation is such a tricky issue that I just don't see how someone can justify whether a stock is expensive or cheap based on the PEG.
