I think for the stock wise a better question will be if past results means future results will look be as good? Granted PARC reasearch lab couple of decade ago had created some great inventions(marketing/selling those another issue) but I'm not sure their past glory will rub off into great current and future inventions. If anything the inventions are more likely these days coming from smaller firms who are more intune to current trends and more likely to develope those reaseach. These days I guess I am still keeping Xerox on my watch list because it has such a powerful branding name. Only a few products are able to be have a company name used as a product generic names. Others include kleenex, coke... John
