Inv Reporter says Asia Pacific is a market-lagger

Asia Pacific Resources Ltd APQ
Shares issued 54,399,705 Oct 30 close $1.08
Tue 31 Oct 2000 In the News
In the Oct. 20 issue, The Investment Reporter offers its quarterly list of
companies it believes have below-average appeal and should underperform the
market in 2000. The Reporter recommends selling these shares, but stresses
that it is not advising investors to sell short. Asia Pacific Resources is
one of the chosen market-laggers. The newsletter believes the company will
keep losing money as long as it cannot produce potash profitably. Asia
Pacific was also included in the newsletter's April ($1.50) and July, 2000
($1.51), market-lagger lists.
