| I understand how you feel. However, I truly believe you are going to be pleasantly surprised with the Bush administration. We need a change after the many negative things, public and private, that have come out of the Clinton Gore administration. One big blessing in Bush is that he doesn't have a big ego. He won't have a dictatorial leadership style. He also doesn't have a big ego and will surround himself with the very best talents and minds available. He does have a very strong ability to reach across the aisle and build consensus and to establish bi-partisan approaches to what will be good for all the people and the country. I feel very comfortable that GWB will be a very fine, if not great, President. But, we desperately, as a people, need to go away from the present administration. Also, I don't think Bush will lie to you and that is a very large and serious consideration. Because Gore will and does, regularly, lie to you. In summary, and I will be around to accept the result of my endorsement of Bush, I believe Bush is the right man for the time. And, I wish you well and hope you are pleased with the Bush administration. |
