PLRP news:

MANASSAS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 2000--PACEL Corp.
(OTCBB:PLRP) will participate in Fall COMDEX 2000 in Las Vegas, David
Calkins, president of PACEL, announced today.
As a result of its high finish in the Technovation Symposium
sponsored this past May by the Prince William County Department of
Economic Development, PACEL was invited to participate in a COMDEX
pavilion devoted to innovative small businesses.
Companies in the county were requested to submit new products,
which were judged according to their positive impact on businesses and
industry in the area.
"We are very proud to represent Prince William County at Fall
COMDEX 2000," said Calkins. "This is a tremendous opportunity for us
to promote ChildWatch(TM) and other products to a large number of
information technology decision makers from all over the globe, as
well as to a great many media representatives."
PACEL will share a 1,200 square foot pavilion sponsored by the
United States Department of Commerce, the National Association for
State Development Agencies (NASDA) and the National Institute of
Standards in Technology (NIST). COMDEX will be held at The Sands Expo
and Convention Center, and the pavilion will be located on Upper Level
2, Booth S242.
Fall COMDEX is the largest gathering of technology vendors in the
United States, attracting more than 3,600 members of the media and
200,000 information technology executives and decision-makers,
including 30,000 of them who come from abroad. It is the largest
computer tradeshow in the world.
PACEL Corp. technical and sales representatives will be available
to discuss the ChildWatch(TM) family of security software-- Lite, Plus
and Pro. The free ChildWatch Lite(TM) software will be available
nationwide at most Zany Brainy and Electronic Boutique retail outlets
beginning in early November. It can also be downloaded at
childwatch.com.
PACEL will also provide information about its revolutionary
security software currently being perfected for release in early 2001.
The new software will protect PCs from malicious computer viruses and
unauthorized access, considerably enhancing the protective capability
of current anti-virus schemes, and will also intercept any new
possible viruses from invading the computer files and documents.
The software utilizes an original concept that was developed over
months of study and experimentation. Unlike other existing anti-virus
protection software that warn PC users that a known virus-type might
be trying to infect its files, PACEL's software instantly intercepts
any requests for file access and prevents a virus from accessing files
in any manner.
The software operates without user intervention and is
encapsulated by an easy-to-use, intuitive interface allowing
configuration changes from a basic to advanced level.
