As you, I believe that people that are short post the negatives on a company if and when they find them. Whether or not anyone pays others to do this remains to be seen. I would think not.

Certainly it
seems likely that most posters have an investment position that is compatible with
their posts (i.e. they post favorable comments when they are long, unfavorable ones
when they are short), so I suppose in some way we all have a vested interest in others
being influenced by our posts.

I have no position in AENG. I spar with hypsters for two reasons.

1. Because I hate liars and thieves. Most hypsters are both.

2. Because of the Internet and the fact that I can.
