Sorry folks, I don't get a chance to write more than 5 notes per day. I will try to sqeeze 3 replies in this note.
Fred, Intel is a great company - absolutely no doubt about it. So is microsoft. But, stock market psychology is different. The way I see it is that the investor psychology in the last 18 months has made the market ripe for a major setback. The first quarter EPS for many companies are lousy, yet stocks continue to ascend. As with asking the questions I posed at 70, 80, blah blah, your response doesn't change the fact that PC sales growth has fallen substantially and so much glut has occured in the channels. Yup, Dell had a great quarter. And, that is going to be it. MUEI is in trouble. I am counting on a sorry state affairs report for Gate. Keep your blind-fold so many have done it, why not you? After all, Nostradamus is just another bear. :-)

Yaacov, Coke, another great company and grossly overvalued. But, it is almost impossible for that stock to crash. Main reason is that only 8% is owned by institutions and a good majority of the stock is owned by individuals. When it comes to panics, institutions panic more than the individuals.

Bill Hodal, I don't know about that Genius you are talking about, but I do remember his being so bullish about MUEI. Well, guess what, they just said business ain't good. Oh right, I forgot, Microsoft, Intel and Dell are doing good in selling product, options, whatever, so the pcs must be selling good so ALL the PC related stocks must set new all time highs. give be a break!
