There are online iso images of Linux distributions. Many pc's today can boot directly from the cdrom into the install and installing redhat a few years back had for the most part auto sizing and partitioning of your hard disk. The problem with installing Linux is getting the gui up automatically. Xfree86 fails plug and play often. Tom Watson tosiwmee
