Thanks for the post on DD's call for Dem boycott of this board. DD is absolutely correct in that there is a double standard within SI that tolerates attacks by right-wingers but takes posters like me to the woodshed for having the audacity to have a little fun with posters' names. I also fully expect to be fully banned from this board in the near future because of my political views, not because of anything I've said.

It would be ill-advised for me to quit posting, because I represent a perspective to this thread that would be otherwise lost: that of the union man, the common working man, the Roosevelt Democrat, the guy who's pictured in Norman Rockwell paintings.

There needs to be another voice other than those of Republican elitists who are in bed with Big Business.
