As a leader in providing Windows-based products and services for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), BSQUARE's new ability to provide licensing enables BSQUARE to deliver complete one-stop shopping for customers seeking to develop and deploy a system based on Windows NT Embedded 4.0.
Introduced last fall, Windows NT Embedded 4.0 is an operating system of choice for devices throughout multiple industries, including industrial automation, telephony, thin clients and retail point-of-sale. BSQUARE has a strong history with the thin client segment, providing Windows-based terminal software and services to companies including IBM, and expects to expand its focus to bring comprehensive software solutions to these additional market segments.
