From Briefing.com <Lehman on Semi Capital Equipment : Firm believes that semi capital investment in 2001 could be up 35%-40% over the 2000 level; firm sees current estimates of 10%-20% growth levels as overly pessimistic; one reason for the difference of opinion is Lehman's belief that old chip capacity will have to be replaced next year and consequently does not believe the capacity expansion part of the cycle in the industry is over.>
