On the contrary, I view the SPinco postponement as a potential "hint" - a very subtle one - from Qualcomm that business conditions would be much more favorable in January 01, either due to better eps prospects or strategic deals finally coming together in the next few months, or both.

Q's money flow has been positive all day (currently close to +20,000 MM) and trading has been confined in a relatively narrow range.

So far the signs are NOT negative. We shall, however, await the final verdict come 4:00 PM.
