It's nice to see them moving. Probably Gaylord needs to review the legal details of the case before proceeding. I expect that he can initiate the filing for an inverse condemnation case without a precise estimate of damages at this time. Since we have a lawyer who is probably much more expert on the application of eminent domain law than someone like Judge Bork, I suppose they won't be seeking Bork's advice and opinion. The Company should have hired Bork to express a Constitutional opinion much earlier. It might have boosted the stock price during the rights offering and made it much more successful.

I hope that the Company will not be timid about the potential value of the leases and/or the oil that the Company is precluded from selling. We need to see some big dollar numbers generated to catch people's attention. I hope that the Company follows up on Ware's comment:

"Coastal intends to vigorously pursue fair compensation for the taking of its property, Ware said, adding that 'these are huge leases, and we intend to prove just how enormously valuable they are.'"
