George C; ie: wanting the XAU to go to 35/WCOM leaps ~

...George; I guess it depends if you want to buy more & buy cheaper - nothing more complex than that.

I want to buy more Golds; but I want to buy them cheaper too.... tighter the coiled spring - bigger the bounce.

ie: $10 Oil begat $30 Oil and they didn't have the next few years+ of global production shorted either ~

===================
data bits;

I'd own golds in a basket and I would slowly average in.

NEM is my fav' XAU component / No American co; but I really like GOLD & HGMCY better.

A broad basket of NEM AEM FN.TO HGMCY GOLD and maybe a few small caps if you have some speculative funds to allocate for DROOY KGC GLG perhaps.

I also hold some PAAS SIL N FCX SWC for some copper, silver, nickel, & platinum/palladium exposure too - allthough unlike "JQP" - I am not too excited about buying palladium, or platinum here at these prices vs. gold/silver.

Silver has consistantly outperformed gold in virtually all prior PM rallies fwiw; there just are not the large cap choices in silver - with similar production histories, cash flow & reserve bases in the silver miners as golds imho.

==================

Well Postal - I'm glad someone at least bought those WCOM Leaps cheap.... "JQP"- how are yours doing ?

Also JQP; you waded into that "max margin" a bit early; curious - did you stop out, or are you still holding it all here on "max margin" - or did the broker get some (VBG) ?

Inquiring minds want to know (VBG) ?

... that 10-15 point collapse right after you went "max margin" had to kinda be - "Deja Vu all over again" - in not quite the Martha Stewart way; if ya know what i mean....

Those little calls & letters from the broker ain't fun - are they ?.... get burned/liquidated once - hopefully you learn from it; do it twice in the same boom cycle & perhaps a broker, or a trust should handle your money - yes ?

Hate to see ya have to dip the house again - at these rates & all....tweek, tweek ...

;)
