WASHINGTON, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Sun Microsystems Inc.'s (SUNW) chief financial officer, Michael Lehman, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 128,000 common shares of his company's stock valued at $13.4 million.
Lehman made the filing on Oct. 31 and it was publicly released by the SEC on Thursday.
It showed that the CFO acquired the shares after exercising options. The potential sale of the 128,000 shares comes after he actually sold 100,000 shares in early August for more than $11 million.
Lehman owned 50,203 shares and the rights to acquire 304,000 more as of Sept. 12, according to Sun's latest proxy filed with the SEC in early October.
The company has about 1.6 billion total common shares outstanding.
Sun's shares were up $3-3/8 to $109-1/4 in late afternoon trading on Nasdaq.
