Neocon,

I do enjoy the dialogue with you.

Ok. We'll drop the hypothetical stuff.

I think you know that the attorney went on for years without being sanctioned. While there are certainly limits on what a Governor can do [and correctly so]. It appears that he made no attempt and at times laughed at the situation when posed to him.

You may be aware, that in a recent case, a lower court had thrown out the case in which the attorney had slept. When asked about the case, Bush said something to the effect of, the system works. The next day the attorney general's office appealed. I find Bush's comments and the actions of the attorney general to be in conflict. The attorney general is under the direct control of the Governor.

You'll probably mention that under appeal the lower court's ruling was overturned. Without going into the legal points of the decision. Fine. None the less, Bush's responding comments were at best misleading.

Regards,
jttmab
