Tax-loss-selling: What about NT? That is the widest held stock in canada, and it only got hit very recently.

To complicate things, the BCE 1.5+ (post-split) NT share distribution took place in May, and some BCE owners may have been hit with a large capital gain of about 58. If this is treated as a real taxable gain, selling now (@42+) to buy back in 30 days may actually make a lot of sense for many.
