Pheonix, It has been poor leadership at the very top that has miscalculated lucents latest whoas and has failed to execute. It wasn't because they didn't have enough smart employees. Yes they lost many good people....that doesn't mean they still aren't knee deep in talent. I'll take experience over youth anyday of the week. They don't teach what Bell labs is doing in college that I know of. It's called on the job training. New leadership will come from experience not some hungry kid out of school. I believe with the correct CEO Lucents commercial " good things to come " will come true. At least we agree one one thing....LU is heading higher... LU is now heading in the right direction and I'm confident it will not drop the ball on the coming 3g products...McGinn is gone so the air must be better within the company? Time will tell but the new CFO will make some immediate changes that will effect the bottom line and we should begin to see results very soon on that front. So, in the meantime I await the hiring of a world class CEO that can execute the plan...that's the only employee I'm concerned about for the moment. .....see you this weekend Jeff
