Hi Don, I'll check for earlier posts on the subject. Here's the newest one I've read.
I don't know if this can be easily validated yet, however.

"Date: November 2, 2000

To: BATG Employees
ADC President's Council

From: Bill Cadogan

Subject: Leadership Announcement

Arun Sobti, President of ADC's Broadband Access and Transport Group, has
resigned effective Wednesday, November 8th. Arun is leaving to pursue
personal interests, and is currently considering a number of opportunities
available to him. Please join me in thanking Arun for his significant
efforts and contributions at ADC, and in wishing him success in his future
endeavors.

Effective immediately, Bob Switz's role at ADC will be extended to include
direct responsibility for managing BATG, in addition to his current CFO
responsibilities. Bob's financial strength, coupled with his strong
strategic insight and acquisition experience, is well aligned with the
critical challenges facing BATG. Bob, the BATG Leadership Team, and all
BATG employees, must continue the focus on BATG's key priorities:

· Improving financial performance
· Quality and process improvement
· New product development
· Overall execution including successful integration of PairGain and BAS

BATG has been making strong progress toward meeting these priorities. I
appreciate the hard work of all BATG employees in FY2000 that have
contributed to BATG's progress. As we move forward, I'd ask you to join me
in congratulating and supporting Bob Switz in his expanded role as President
of the Broadband Access and Transport Group. I am confident that with Bob's
leadership, and the continued focus of all BATG employees, BATG is well
positioned for future success.

Thanks to each of you, and let's work together to make FY2001 the best year
ever!

Bill Cadogan
