Donjuan: I agree with you completely. Any request to "tone down commentary" is a euphemism for the muzzling of free speech. I got taken to the woodshed two days ago for calling Prolife "Getalife". (Wasn't that an awful thing that I did?!) We have a board set up for the free discussion of ideas, and now SI is trying to set limits on "free speech." Sorry, Sheriff Jeff. That's inexcusable.

I called this one two days ago. First they'll outlaw handle-twisting, then they'll move on to other areas ... like satire. No doubt all political humor will be banned next week.

I am growing more disgusted with the SI thought police every day. Perhaps the Wall Street Journal would be interested in doing a story with a headline: "Silicon Investor puts squeeze on free speech."
