Dave B,

I agree. Anyone who agrees to pay regardless of validity should get their application in for Gelsinger's job. <g> But the question is, what would happen if MU wins with its JEDEC defense, if everyone else has already signed on?

Now that would be interesting. MU free to roam the DRAM sales channels without paying the RMBS lug charged to everyone else would certainly alter the political landscape among MM's and RMBS. At least the potential would be there for them to "improve" their image.

...Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. RMBS might relocate and get a face lift, but that smell is going to hang with 'em for years. ...At least as long as it takes for our Imperial EE's fade into their golden retirement years and arthritis robs them of what little pleasure RMBS has left them.<vbg>

Frankly I don't know why RMBS would care about getting fees from MU. They're free from the obligation to make INTC's warrants good and the SDRAM/DDR controller fees for Big Green ought to be enough to keep them in deodorant and perfume for the rest of Tates unnatural life.

I don't know about RMBS (why isn't Edelstone/Morgan Stingy buying up shares to beat the band at $50/pop?) but I am ready to proclaim AMI/ADC/ADT, or whatever they are calling themselves lately, as being Dead x 3 right now.<vbg>
