According to the article, he was pulled over for driving too slowly. Not speeding, not weaving, not driving erratically.

He was driving too slowly. Is that even against the law? I frequently see speed limit signs, but how often are there minimum speeds posted? In Kennebunkport, Maine?

Did the cops even have probable cause to stop him? Did they violate his Bush's fourth amendment rights against unreasonable search and seizure when they stopped him?

If it were Bill Clinton, do you think he would have paid the fine, or fought it all the way to the Supreme Court, with Hillary by his side, blaming the police for violation of his civil rights and being part of a "vast right wing conspiracy?"

Bush paid the fine and went on with his life. Much more importantly, he cleaned up his act, unlike so many today, and is setting an example. Is this worse than Gore's recently bragging about his reckless speeding on a motorcycle? No. Bush isn't bragging about it.
