Gary - Re: 'Lawson plans to install two of the Intel-based xSeries servers in each of its 7,600 stores throughout Japan. An IBM representative declined to disclose terms of the deal'

This brings a totally different concept of 'server build-out ' than I had imagined.

Can you imagine what the Intel server CPU sales would be like if, say, one tenth of the retail shops in the world incorporated ON-SITE servers for customer purchases?

Maybe Intel's idea of future server CPU penetration is an UNDERESTIMATE !
