"He said that they just couldn't build them fast enough."

Comment: Get used to it...That'll be the AMD song of Y2001...Just can't make 'em fast enuf!!! (as the demand curve slices thru the supply curve in Q1...

Funny thing about this 760 Register stuff...The 760 is a retail tangible item...You can touch it, test it and buy it...The P4 which is "veiled" to say the least is given more credibility by many than the 760...Absolutely bizarre, imho, all smoke and mirrors!!!

By the way...love Mr. Ruiz's analogy the other day...The "spry Athy" is like a souped up automobile that can easily do 200 mph but is constrained by the road infrastructure which limits "safe" driving to a maximum of 100 mph...The DDR memory supplies a road infrastructure that enables the "spry Athy" to cruise safely at 200 mph...

You gotta know that AMD's biggest task in Y2001 is going to be the fashioning of a wedding cake large enough for all celebrants to take away a sample from this marriage of DDR and "spry Athy"...Can't overstate the significance of this marriage on the shaping of future microprocessor generations!!!We are witnessing microprocessor history!!! Truly a new microprocessor generation is about to be born!!!
