I'm on very thin ice here but I suppose you are pointing out that in the earlier study seems to say that AIT-082 is "... not involved in the cGMP system..."

and in the later study that indicated " ...AIT-082 shows the ability to induce production of neurotrophic factors by modulating carbon monoxide-dependant guanylyl cyclase (cGMP)..."

There are so many words that I don't know in there that I'm not sure of all the implications and import of what they found or the discrepancy, if there is one. I don't really know if one researcher found or concluded one thing and the other one found or concluded something else. Could it be just further light on something that was not fully understood before or even a correction to previous research? Or is this some flaw in one of the studies?

Or have I missed the point altogether?
