Oscar Gruss & Son..... they grind up pigs and package the grindings, correct? Drive around in a funny car with a weenie on top?
Never heard of Michael Shaoul. A Medline search comes up empty. But maybe he's changed his name since he was publishing!?
Never heard of Timothy Brackett. There's a T. Bracket that published three times in the mid-eighties on spinal injuries. Maybe that's him. Probably not. But, if so, not very impressive.
"the whole sector is a little saucy."
Bull. Blanket statements cover ignorance. I can and have named companies that are fundamentally undervalued, companies that will increase in value.
But is this the best of the BS? No, for we yet have this gem......
The outlook is gaining credence on Wall Street. John Roque, senior analyst at Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder (and RealMoney.com contributor), issued a report earlier this week in which he compared the biotech index of today to the Philadelphia Stock Exchange Semiconductor Index of June 2000, "when the components of the SOX and other semis started to deteriorate but the SOX remained relatively insulated."
Bleichroeder? Sounds like the noise that Bush must have made, bending over the toilet one sorry night in Maine, 1976........
Bleichroeder! Uh...... urrrrrghh...... uuuuuunnngBleichroeder!
RealMoney.com? Cool!!
But...... what is a "RealMoney.com"?
For those with short memories (a large group, it seems)
Hey, Aaron J. Task, are you insulting me? Let's publish the portfolios that we follow here at SI-biotech in tsc.com, OK? Let's describe our performance. Jesse used to lurk here for stories, and I used to talk with him at H&Q. You going to be there this year? Hard to miss you with that cutsie little beardie.
Having been "sucker punched" by bandwidth stocks, Shaoul said he co-penned the report in part to avoid repeating the experience.
There we have an accurate reflection of the veracity, when it comes to insightful journalism, of one Aaron J. Task.
Paraphrased...... "bandwidth stocks went down, and I want to warn everyone about these medical research outfits."
Second paraphrase.... "look everyone, I'm a **cking idiot!"
Aaron L. Task writes daily for TheStreet.com. In keeping with TSC's editorial policy, he doesn't own or short individual stocks, although he owns stock in TheStreet.com.
TheStreet.com still has stock? I thought they took it private when it hit $0.05/share???
Gotta run!! Not feeling too good...... unnnnnnghhhh...... Bleichroeder! |
