Some mentally impaired people are of normal or even high intelligence. This is the unfortunate circumstance with my son. He is quite intelligent enough to comprehend every instance of rejection- but he does not have the ability to change himself enough not to be a target of such rejection.

It is a truly terrible situation.

I know why people act the way they do. It just gives me no comfort that people are so primitive.
