IDT Reaffirms Outlook for Third Fiscal Quarter
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 2000--In the midst of heightened market activity, IDT (Nasdaq:IDTI - news) reaffirms the outlook provided in its earnings call held two weeks ago. IDT sees continued strength in the broad market for communications infrastructure systems, which IDT serves. Further, to date, IDT has seen no abnormal change in business with its major customers, and, in particular, with respect to Cisco Systems. IDT believes that the markets for IP routing and switching, broadband access, and wireless systems continue to represent strong growth opportunities for the company and its products.

Please note that for more information there is a replay of the fiscal Q2 2001 earnings call that can be accessed at idt.com.

Separately, in light of the recent implementation of the SEC's new Fair Disclosure rules, IDT intends to institute a mid-quarter update call with investors and analysts. The first of these updates is currently targeted for November 13. This call will also be Webcast in order to afford all IDT investors the opportunity to hear IDT's update and provide the opportunity for management to address questions that investors may have about the company or the markets it serves.
