Just figured out who you are, Koplik's buddy. It explains your view on investement grade art. I have nothing against contemporary art or dealers. I know collect emerging contemporary Mori, Halley, Tomasselli, Simon etc. Have doubled my investement on every thing I bought last year. The right contemporary art can be VERY profitable. However its an old boys network and you need the right friends to get it. As for the stuff you sell, what I consider decrotive contemporary, there's nothing wrong with it. As long as its priced appropriatly, I think if someone spends more then 10,000 its an investement. At least now a I understand your position.
