Hey Mike & thread- Any thoughts on what sectors may lead us out of here on the Nasd?

Opticals - I'm not sure that the threat of Capex slowdown isn't real, same goes for the downstream semi guys. Part of it stems from the mess T, FON, WCOM, are in.... I guess if CSCO gives its usual upbeat report next week they will come roaring back, but even at current levels they are not cheap.

As for the semi equipment makers, this dog won't hunt: 08:09 ET Kulicke & Soffa (KLIC) 14 7/8: Chip equipment maker issues reduced outlook for revenues for Q1; says continues to experience deferrals and push-outs that will further impact first quarter results.

Tend to think its a dog w/fleas but so are others(notably TER).

I'm thinking YHOO, AOL, CMGI the carnage may be over(for the s/t anyway), wondering what you think about any other sectors.

TIA - Liam
