What do you mean? If you take delivery of say 5000 oz, then you pay for exactly 5000 oz. How is that "a large amount of capital"?

Just that the amount required to take delivery of a contract's worth of silver is several times that required to hold a contract. Comparatively, that's "a large amount of capital."

Besides, for most people investing in $24,000 minimum chunks isn't chump change either. Makes it kind of hard to dollar cost average.
