I think that AMAT's earnings release will resolve the issue.
I would point out that I have been getting into these stocks partly because I believe there was an overeaction in these stocks since spring.

They are way oversold. Now the analysts have been jumping on downgrading many stocks in the semi and semi equipment stocks.

That can only mean one thing---that the sector is about to move up.
The moves down that you posted only increase the odds of a move up.

Since everyone does not believe in the cycle coming to an end, I think we are going higher.

Many of the companies are releasing favorable guidance in press releases or in investor conferences. Just see if you have access to the prudential conference (web), earlier this week--and see what you think of the executive's from these company's comments.

I think the market reaction in stocks like AMAT, ATML, ASML, NVLS, KLAC will provide evidence of what i mean.

Just watch the closing prices in these stocks today!
