There is a very significant tidbit of info in that article that makes Sage Inc that much more attractive:
"The company said its FLI2200 video doubler chip can deliver near-HDTV-quality images for near-NTSC/PAL cost.">>>
Anybody who knows of Faroudja from their expertise in video Line-doubling technology can see that they are an absolute perfect fit for SAGI. As far as I know, they are the only display processor company that offers this technology. It's this sort of intellectual property that will make the difference for Sage, and at the same time, separates them from the competitors.
I know collectively, Sage and Faroudja own several patents related to this technology. Here is one of Faroudja's Line-doubling patents: The analog or digital components (such as RGB, Y/I/Q, Y/U/V, Y/R-Y/B-Y, Y/Cr/Cb, etc.) of a compatible standard-bandwidth 2-1 interlaced television signal, an analog signal, such as a standard NTSC or PAL television signal or a standard format digital signal, such as a digital representation of a standard NTSC or PAL television signal or a digital video signal in one of the 2:1 interlaced CCIR 601 hierarchical formats, is converted from interlaced to progressive scan, the progressive scan frame rate corresponding to the interlaced scan field rate and each progressively scanned frame having twice as many scan lines as in each interlaced field, the conversion often referred to as "line doubling;"

I agree, John. We have an awful long way to go from here. $17 is nothing. Of course those with a short-term view will likely dump into this rally and take their profits. Longer term investors will really prosper from growth in this sector. Patience is key.
