With all due respect Lee, I would like to clarify something for the benefit of all concerned parties. You have elluded to qcom earnings as lousy and question the top line number without knowing some essential facts.Qcom revenue from last year is lower today because they sold their handset division to Kyocera this past February. The handset division was a low margin and burden on the company and it was the best thing they could do and hence the less revenue. As far as Qcom as a company is concerned it is the premiere wireless company in the world and will be a cash cow for years to come.It currently has 2.5 bil in cash and no debt.It holds every essential 3G patent and will receive licensing revenues from anybody and everybody(base station equipment, hand set manufacturers and component suppliers) that is migrating to 3G mobile services which will be CDMA only in different flavors(NO GSM and NO TDMA).I hold 15.6 K shares today and would buy as much as could at current prices if I had more cash.

You could still remain a skeptic if you don't believe in 3G mobile communication and the billions spend this year is spectrum auctions around the world. The stock trades at 50 times next year earnings and is the Gorilla of wireless with no competition in the form of replacement technology.
Now I consider that a steal at current valuations.

This is not a recomendation to buy or sell and do your own thorough research and make up your own mind.
