BRIEF UPDATES:

Long weekend in the U.S. but markets will remain open in Canada Monday.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Net Nanny (NNS:VSE $0.84 Nasdaq NNSWF)

In case you have missed it lately, JOT:VSE is one of the hottest stocks to
hit the VSE in quite a while. Investor's are looking for alternatives to
the resource sector for the time being and these hot little software
companies are definitely coming into favour. Today our Net Nanny quietly
brought on board some market makers from a couple of the largest firms in
the U.S. to gear up for what appears to be some anticipated activity in
their Nasdaq OTC listing (NNSWF). The past couple days the stock has been
unusually strong on the VSE
and the company is very tight lipped about something. We would expect the
first few days next week to be relatively quiet but we would strongly
suggest you keep an eye on the stock until we try to uncover the reason for
the activity.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adamas Resources (AMS:VSE $0.31 cdn)

Probably one of the most frustrating stocks we have seen. Some time ago we
complained of the delays in signing Nevada and shifted the blame to Steve
Doppler (President) - something we now apologize for. We were provided with
copies of letters sent amongst those involved during this negotiation
period and now see the problem was in no way related to Steve. Contents of
the letters show that after the terms of the acquisition were locked in and
the document was being circulated for signatures, the property owners
decided this was an excellent opportunity for them to settle old disputes
amongst each other and use this deal as the bargaining tool. To be honest,
I am totally shocked that Steven managed to secure the deal as the level of
infighting was ridiculous and in the end we commend him for some excellent
negotiation skills that protected all the AMS investors.

To complicate matters we have had over 300k shares sold out of Cannacord
from someone who was holding some of the last old (cheap) paper and decided
he wanted out. Basically this shareholder nickel & dimed the company to
death over the past couple weeks which gave current investors some
excellent bargains but did nothing to help those that bought in at higher
prices over the past couple months. The stock price does not even remotely
reflect the underlying value of this company and its prospects but we are
confident that this will change as we head into this 2nd & 3rd quarter.
Doppler is intent on building a junior gold mining company and we are
confident he will succeed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Getty Copper (GTY:TSE $0.95)

Very good news out today from the company which continues to confirm our
belief that this is a truly undervalued situation and over time will be a
strong takeover candidate by their Highland Valley Copper neighbors. This
was still not the release though were looking for so hopefully it will come
next week.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Goldtex Resources (GXR:ASE $1.30)

The stock softened a bit the past couple days as investors expected to see
a news release on Yemen that has not arrived yet. Some people like to view
this as doom/gloom, we view this as "typical Chuck Fipke". He will write it
over
20 times before he is comfortable with it and will ensure that what we see
are the facts, not smoke and mirrors. Based on what we have seen in Kelowna
and what we have heard from others, the news will be well worth the wait.
If the news is as expected we should see strong buying from Europe & New
York. They are currently in Yemen but we expect the release sometime next
week.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trojan Ventures (TJV:VSE $0.35)

No news yet but a large trade when through this afternoon for 100,000 shares
at $0.35. The stock appears to be drying up in these levels as the ask has
risen to 0.38. Quite likely we will start to see the stock cycle through the
$0.40's as we head into June.
