Hi Polvie: You are right. I talk to animals just like humans. Well, maybe even nicer. I look under the table in the garage and say good morning to the possum that lives there every morning when I head out. Talk to baby blue birds each year in our nests just like they were babies. Talk to turtles and ask them if they want to walk inside the house for awhile. Talk to the coons and their babies, just like a momma. Talk to the possum in the tree when I hand them their cookies. Have held baby bunnies and birds in the palm of my hand feeding them with an eye dropper whispering to them to please drink the milk.

And have talked to many of our pets as they lay dying in my lap and with tears streaming down my face. And the way they look up at me, they do understand.
