Jim, Re: Looks like Joe's really been stirring it up on the Anandtech Boards... Wow, great response by Anand. I think this attitude has helped him to distinguish his site from other big hardware site like Tom's Hardware. I always enjoyed Anands reviews very much and with this response I enjoy (and trust) them even more. I don't think we can accuse him of doing whatever Intel (or someone else) wants him to do. He just wants to do the job possible. Since the SpecCPU Suite is a very important benchmark I don't know why he should ignore it -- although it favors Intels heavily optimized compilers. Maybe he should add another SpecCPU Test with non-optimized compilers to his scores to give this comparison as well. I think this would be the best compromise and everyone could make up his own mind about the scores. Andreas
