I do not deny that drunk driving is bad. As I mentioned, we support MADD. I merely point out that even running stops is dangerous. Anyway, all I have argued is that a ticket and fine appear similar in the memory, and, in fact, not all detention amounts to arrest. Once, when I was 17, I was walking through a park and stopped by some cops, because they were on the look out for some hold up men. I was patted down and everything. But I was not under arrest, and I was let go shortly after they called in to check on me......
