Porter,

Still feeling a little bearish. No doubt the US markets are overbought, the US economy is at better than full employment....so the US markets may have reached a plateau. US long bond will likely nip 7% this week. Their markets may slowdown without any Fed tightening.

But in Canada, there is a lot of productive slack, unemployment is still high. If we see stable monetary policy in US and Canada, there is no reason for Canadian markets to outperform the US. Remember at one time, not too long ago, the TSE 300 was higher than the Dow.

I'm thinking the TSE 300 is going to be doing a lot of catching up. What do you think ? Others ?(Please substantiate)
