I understand that Ric expended a great deal of capital in obtaining the reinstatement of the Dr. at TRowe today, even to the point of arriving late for, and never obtaining, lunch. This includes repairing all ill-will and ensuring that TRowe personnel know that the Dr. was provoked by that Tall Ugly American. The argument was quite persuasive that I overheard to the effect that the Dr. was merely exercising his First Amendment rights. I ALSO UNDERSTAND FROM RIC THAT IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT CALM BE MAINTAINED NEXT WEEK BETWEEN THE DR. AND THE TALL UGLY AMERICAN WHILE THE NEW ASST. MANAGER BECOMES ACCLIMATED TO THE COFFEE SHOP ATMOSPHERE. ALL SHOULD MINIMIZE THE HUB-BUB IN THE LOBBY. Finally, I believe the Dr. should be quite laudatory of Ric.
