Mo,

In your post # 213 to Cal, you made a reference to me using the words, "in a panic state". What were you talking about? It seems to me you were jumping to conclusions again. You criticized Cal for not having done double, triple checks etc. Well, I wish to tell you to read carefully and don't assume too much or exaggerate. I never was in a panic state nor am I losing sleep over anything. I was just puzzled as to why there are apparently so many contradictions about Hawkeye! Jumping to conclusions does not make one objective. It would tend to make one appear arrogant and defensive.

Do not take offence when you are asked questions that seem to cast doubts on Hawkeye. If you can be of help, fine; if not, just too bad for the seeker. There is no need to go beyond that, like jumping to conclusions or confusion.

I don't know for sure, but perhaps your relatively long association with Hawkeye's properties that carry names like Moe (which sounds very much like Mo) and Reba (which also appears on your e-mail address) tend to make you rather defensive whenever anyone says anything you consider derogatory about Hawkeye. It seems you would take it as a personal attack and consider your attacker a fickle, a camp-changer or a traitor of sorts! Am I right? Whoever has decreed that all Hawkeye investors must ever remain Hawkeye loyalists? Even rats will not hesitate to jump ship if that is necessary for them to stay alive!

As I am not a geologist, I will not attempt to answer the question on magnetics. All I know is that magnetic anomalies generally indicate the presence of mineralisation (including oil) in rocks. However, I have heard recently that drilling came up empty in one area where magnetic anomalies were strong. (Perhaps they didn't drilled deep enough?). It would be greatly appreciated if some qualified or knowledgeable person(s) would be so good as to enlighten us on this topic.
