Criminals don't buy guns in stores...they steal them! If the government outlaws guns what keeps criminals from doing home invasion.... what do you think keeps governments at bay? it's a basic check in this country to the government from getting out of control. The founding fathers were pretty damn smart. it's not about keeping guns out of childrens hands or criminals. BTW, Knives are still the murder weapon of choice.
