THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM (Bobby's Song)
To dream the impossible dream, To find dykes [or dypes, or pipes] the size of a whale, To have on the Board of Directors, Good folks who won't end up in jail
To drill holes that will hit the mark, To love breccia both find and coarse, To try to search mineral pathways, to reach the unreachable source
This is my quest, to follow that train, No mateer how costly, no matter what pain, To drill all the holes, without respite or pause, To be willing to go under lakes for this heavenly cause And I know, if I just follow through with my billiant design, That my stock will go higher and split And that all will be fine
And the world will be better for this, That our men with stock scorned at the bourse, Still drilled, with our last dime of money, To reach the unreachable source
This is my quest to follow that train, No matter how costly, not matter what pain, To drill all the holes, without respite or pause,
And to dream the impossible dream
