OT - JimL, I respect your views but I see it the opposite ( thats what makes a market and a democracy ). I don't care much for both of them either. People don't want to admit it but things have never been better, sure there can be many people to thank, A.G, the Oil Glut, the Internet ,ect... But remember it is a lot easier to screw up a good thing than to keep it going, at least Gore is a known evil. I get a kick out of people who slam the administrations energy policy ( whatever it is ), and in the same post wish Saddam would pull his oil off the market ( hypocrite , no one in particular )! The other day someone even posted that this administration was to blame for SUV's being popular gas guzzlers, look at which administration loosened the MPG restrictions in automobiles ( hint, it was after Carter, BTW he was smart but didn't make that election winning deal with the terrorist regime in IRAN ! At the time I signed my draft card in '79 I was yelling as loud as anyone we should have gone to war with Iran since the bombing of an embassy is an act of war , but then again I could've been killed by my own countries weapons fired by the enemy . This is why IRAN-CONTRA will always be a epiphany for me , and anyone who ever had anything to do with it, or related to anyone who had anything to do with it can never earn my trust ).
I'll go back to lurk-mode don't mean to send the thread off topic, I just felt the need to vent. I know how the majority on this thread thinks and I certainly don't need to go online to be in the minority view, I could go anywhere in this town and be that.
END RANT
