What are you talking about? The drug war is an excuse to meddle in the affairs of these countries. Most of the profit flows back to USA drug lords. The drug cartels treat the peasants much better then the USA backed regimes in power. The drug war is an excuse to keep the poor and underpriveledged incarcerated and used as justification for harrasement of minorities.
Drug War my ass. It's also used to launder money as in the North episode for funding more covert involvement in these countries.
PS; REBELS, is a word we see often. Hmmmmm, I guess that means that they are inherently evil, right? Ask Marcos,,, The only new building in all of Chiapas which is all slums is ? You guessed it, The Gaol....
